  • Adding Leave

    You can enter into enter leave for each reporter directly from the roster (by clicking + within the Away row) or via the Reporters page, under Network Level.

  • Adding On Call

    You can use OptiRad to manage your on call roster, as far in advance as necessary. On call sessions are bespoke to your department, and can be assigned to the appropriate reporter as required.

  • Reporter Job Plans

    To edit an existing job plan, duplicate the published entry from a reporter’s Job Plan page (found on the Reporters page). This will generate an exact copy of that job plan that you can edit. From here, you can remove, add, or edit any activity as required. This can include changing the nature of the sessions, the time of the session, or the frequency of a session.

  • Logging In

    When logging in to OptiRad, visit the URL www.optirad.hexarad.com. Before entering your email address and password, you first need to select if you’re signing in as an administrator or as a reporter (otherwise the system might show the error message ‘Invalid email or password’). Choose to sign in as a reporter.

  • Accessing the Roster

    From the OptiRad homepage, you can access the roster for your organisation by clicking Roster, on the lefthand sidebar. This will lead you to your personal roster, set as a default to show your work schedule and the entries that pertain to you.

  • Roster Filters

    You can refine the roster by using filters, which can be accessed by clicking FILTERS on the top left of the roster.

  • Setting a Password

    By now, you should have received an email from OptiRad, entitled ‘Confirmation Instructions’. This will provide you with the link you need to get started setting up a password for your account.
